As summer bids adieu and the days grow shorter, a captivating transformation unfolds in the small coastal town of Hossegor, France. Nestled in the southwestern part of the country, this idyllic destination unveils a tapestry of colors, surf swells, and a serene atmosphere during the enchanting fall season. Renowned as a surfer’s haven, Hossegor’s fall season brings a wave of excitement. As summer crowds recede, the ocean swells rise, bestowing the town with consistent and powerful waves. Surfers from around the globe flock to Hossegor to challenge themselves against the well-known waves of Les Landes area. Join me on a vibrant journey as I follow two professional surfers girl for the photoshoot of Sisstr Evolution Fall/Winter 22 campaign.

Greeted by Nature’s Kaleidoscope

As the sun rises over Hossegor, the town is bathed in the warm hues of autumn. Accompanied by two professional surfer girls : Samantha Sibley and Sofi Loewy, we embark on a walk through the enchanting forest of pines, where the trees transform into a breathtaking kaleidoscope of reds, oranges, and yellows. The vibrant foliage serves as a vivid backdrop, heightening the anticipation for the day’s surf adventure. As she came to Europe to compete for the WSL QS events, Californian surfer Samantha Sibley stopped in Hossegor to visit her Sisstr teammate Sofi Loewy.

The Thrill of the Waves

The girls lead us to the renowned beaches of Hossegor, where the Atlantic Ocean presents its best swells. As they wax their surfboards, the excitement in the air is palpable. Waves are small but the water is crystal clear and the sun is shining. It is a beautiful morning in Hossegor. Their skills and passion create an awe-inspiring spectacle, inspiring everyone around them.

Savoring the Swell: A Well-Earned Morning Coffee in Hossegor

After an invigorating morning session of watching the girls conquer the waves, we paused to recharge with a steaming cup of coffee. At this time of the year, mornings in France are cold and we enjoyed the warmth of our beverages. As we sip our coffees, the conversation flows effortlessly, filled with tales of early morning surf sessions, the camaraderie among surfers, and the profound connection they feel with the ocean. Energized and inspired, we eagerly anticipate the rest of the day, ready to dive back into the excitement of Hossegor’s fall season.

Embracing Tranquility: A Serene Interlude at the Lake

As the day unfolds, our journey takes an unexpected turn, leading us to a serene oasis nestled amidst the beauty of Hossegor – the lake. We pause our surfing adventures momentarily, drawn to the tranquil waters reflecting the vibrant colors of fall season. Sitting at the water’s edge, we bask in the peaceful ambiance, taking in the picturesque scene. Refreshed and rejuvenated, we prepare to continue our exploration of the fall wonders of Hossegor.

A Tranquil Evening Unfolds with a Majestic Sunset on the Beach

As the golden hour casts its enchanting spell over Hossegor, we eagerly make our way to the beach to witness the breathtaking spectacle of the sunset. The sky transforms into a kaleidoscope of hues, painting strokes of pink, orange, and yellow across the horizon. We find a cozy spot in the sand, the soothing sound of crashing waves providing the perfect soundtrack to the mesmerizing display before us. As the sun slowly descends, casting its warm glow over the water, we embrace the serenity of the moment.
